I try to put as much genealogy information on the site that will help anyone in the future find documents in the correct location. I have many family members buried at Shields Chapel Cemetery and helped my grandfather mow the Church and Cemetery in the 1970s and early 1980s. I grew up in the Buckheart Township area until I left for the Army in 1983. I retired from the Army in 2016 and moved back home to Canton, Illinois.
