My name is Ronda, I was born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska and have lived here all my life.
Heritage has always been important to me. My maternal grandfather was 100% Irish, but was adopted by Germans when he was very young. I personally have been trying to find the missing puzzle pieces to my ancestral link. I am hoping by helping upload photos of gravestones or obituaries that I may be able to help a family somewhere complete their search in finding their heritage or missing link.
I believe we need to teach our children to respect where each one of our families have come from and to instill the values of remembering the individuals that have passed on before us.
