Bio

I have been collecting our family history for the past 45 years. My Kuester/Kuster ancestors came to America in 1880. My Horn ancestors came 1882. My Wyss/Wiss/Weiss ancestors arrived in 1883. My Schulz ancestors came 1884. My Sieber/Seber Ancestors came to America in 1872.

The Wyss/Wiss clan settled in Buchanan County, Mo. The other members settled in Leavenworth County, except for Carl Mathias Sieber. He brought his wife and child here from Germany, then he disappeared. Supposedly he is in Cincinnati Ohio. I learned about my ancestors lives through my aunts and uncles. It was very interesting. Another great source of information came from the Leavenworth County Library, Leav, KS. They have a massive collection of obituaries and newspaper articles on microfilm.
