Bio

When I first came across Find A Grave years ago, I thought it was an odd thing. I thought it was primarily for people looking for movie stars' graves. In the last ten years or so, however, I have been researching my father's World War II naval history aboard the USS Zircon (PY-16), as well as the USS YMS-75, AND the people with whom my mother attended St. Margaret Mary School in the Bronx in 1940, and I have found the site extremely valuable for locating family members of my dad's ship mates and my mom's classmates.

Along the way, I have added information, photographs, and obituaries to memorials as a way of returning the favour, in hopes that my research can help others as they track down their family histories.
