Born and raised in Sidman (Lovett) and the St. Michael areas of Pennsylvania, lived in the Harold (Red) and Sarah Sauters apartment house while living in Sidman, (Croyle Township side), attended Rockville, South Fork and Triangle area schools, a 1969 Graduate of Forest Hills High, retired from the USCG BT2/USCGR MK1, hold the distinction of being the last Boilerman in the regular Coast Guard to stand the watch while stationed at the USCGA before the rate changed to Machinery Technician in 1974. My present residence since 1970 is New London, Connecticut.. Surname is Gurchik, (father) McVicker (mother), a descendant, NSSAR, #221072, 5th great grandson (McVicker Clan) of Major General Arthur Sinclair, elected the 15th President of the United States in Congress Assembled, 1787.
