I have been chasing family roots for over 35 years now. I also teach a Family Relationships/Genealogy unit to each of my middle school classes in inner city Manchester NH every year. Most students never come to know who they are or where they came from. It’s so important because it helps each student connect with their inner self by knowing their family history. Genealogy is a passion for me! I can’t get enough. One gravestone with its design and epitaph can raise many questions about an individual’s life. Life is short. I hope that my research will help to leave my footprint for others to follow.
