Anytime I walk into a cemetery, I take 15-30 headstone pictures at minimum. Especially those of United States veterans. I have an avid interest in Texas cemeteries and am currently investigating the Washington County Historical Cemetery, whose 'inhabitants' have been unintentionally merged into the Washington Cemetery Find A Grave listings in Washington County, Texas. I hope to do a great deal of work in the historical cemetery to clean it up and photo document those headstones that may become legible after cleaning. The cemetery is in disrepair, headstones have fallen over, crypts are losing brick, and there are many unmarked graves.

If I have added a memorial with no photo, it is because the funeral home marker had not yet been replaced with a headstone at the time the photograph was taken.

If I hold the memorial of a person who is an ancestor of yours and you would like to have it transferred to you, please make your request through the 'Edit' section. Please provide your relationship to that person. If the memorial belongs to a family member of mine, you will have to show a closer relation than mine.
