I have been interested in Genealogy since early 1970s when as a boy a great uncle took me to the National Archives in London, then at St Catherine's House, now at Kew. I regularly visit old London city Churches travelling in from Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Close by are St Mary's Churchyard in Rickmansworth. St Thomas's West Hyde and can reasonably travel locally.
