Several years ago, my mother started researching her ancestry family tree. At that point, I knew I needed to start on my father's family tree. No one else in the family was as interested in doing it as I am, so I knew it would never be done unless I did it. My great grandmother, Margaret Lavinia Nevin Sweeney, had a lot of ancestry records and pictures. My dad said she would have loved doing this with me! I was seven years old when she passed away, but I did get a chance to sing with her while she played piano! Anyway, most of the family is in Tennessee cemeteries. Since I was little, we visited Dad's immediate family at Mount Olivet and his mother's parents at Woodlawn. I moved back to Tennessee several years ago, and have pictures of all of them. Since I started looking into ancestry, I realized that there are MANY more family members here. I'm sad that most of them are buried in cemeteries now, but they are my family and I can visit them! :-D
