I enjoy history and I enjoy taking photos... So, I decided to begin looking for graves of ancestors... For some reason, walking through cemeteries and thinking of our ancestors who have gone before us, brings me comfort... I feel a closeness with them... I will have been in business for 50 years, June 2017... -- Chaffee Excavating, Inc., our family owned and operated excavating business founded by my late husband, Jerry M. Chaffee... We have opened/closed graves for Highland Cemetery, Ohioville Borough, Midland, PA for many, years... My husband also was a caretaker there after Charles E. Tittle, owner, passed... I collect books, history of our area, Abraham Lincoln, and paranormal... I am an adjunct professor of business classes at Kent State University, ELO and also at FCI Elkton, OH... You can say I'm a well-schooled, classy, lady... lol... I hope I have inspired students to be achievers, stay out of trouble, and keep positive.... I have different hobbies, my several posey beds, gardening, dragonflies, collecting rocks from places I've visited, and Bibles of different translations... I believe these qualities will make my grave searching a very fulfilling experience... I just want to help others in their searches... :)
