Bio

My mother, who has now passed on, was a phenomenal genealogist. As I now work with the family records she left behind, I am humbled and inspired. She is missed every day, but every day I also give thanks for and feel blessed by her knowledge, research skills and deep love for family. I think her finest character trait was her willingness to share whatever records, photos, or stories she found. She willingly taught others all that she knew so that they too could successfully trace their roots. Oh, how she would have loved the technology we genealogists have available today! We who are blessed by it must never take it for granted.

I am grateful for Find A Grave. I especially want to thank all those who have created Memorials, those who have photographed and uploaded photos of gravestones, and those who add obituaries, family photos and verifying documents. Among these contributors, I am especially thankful for photographers who give blanket permission to use their photos. Your generosity is a rich blessing to all. It is akin to my mother's generosity and makes me think of her each time I read one of your bios that includes such permission. Thank you, thank you, thank you for that. And in keeping with that same spirit of generosity, here is my blanket permission to use any photos, documents or stories that I add to FAG Memorials. Sharing shows caring.

I wish us all luck in our family history endeavors. My lineage includes Klingler, Wickes, Thurston, Lehman, McGlaughlin, Kiser, Bixler, Wrage, Loop, Standiferd, Schonbohm, and Richter to name a few.
