My name is Jacqueline Anna Zumwalt. I was born in 1961. My father is Bill Zumwalt (1928-) He is a son of Eugene Zumwalt and Phleda Aurelia York. Phleda was a daughter of George Washington York and Josephine Black York. Phleda was from Tenn. but moved around the country after she married Eugene Zumwalt.(He was from the Missouri Zumwalts). They finally settled in NE Oregon where they finished out their lives.I have been fortunate enough to find quite a bit of information on the Zumwalt family, but I am just now finding the York history.
