Please, please, please; when making a request please give me an idea where you acquired the information. I verify every request and I do not have access to every site. There are even sites I did not know existed and am on a learning curve with some of those.

Lat/long/burial locations.
I will simply let them run out the time on auto accept and they will be accepted that way.
Right now I have numerous update requests to change locations from one lat/long location to another. There are two burial plot location updates from one to another. I cannot verify any of this information, therefore I will not even look in to it. If you send an update request for this, just note, YOU ARE NOT BEING IGNORED, I'm just going to let the auto accept take care of it.

Nicknames: I have received numerous nickname requests that are inappropriate and some just down right racist.
I will report to FG support, inappropriate and racist nickname requests.
This, with the member ID of the requestee.
All others will set idle for auto accept to deal with them.

I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO ISSUE WHAT SO EVER WITH MEMBERS APPLYING OBITUARIES, D.C.'S, BIRTH RECORDS, WWI OR II. OR ANY OTHER FORM OF DOCUMENT TO MEMORIALS I MAINTAIN. IF IT HELPS OTHER RESEARCHERS THEN ABSOLUTELY APPLY THE ITEMS.

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY GENEALOGICAL INFORMATION INTO A FLOWER POSTING AS FG DOES NOT APPROVE OF THIS. IF I FIND ONE I WILL ASK FG TO REMOVE IT.

ADDING MILITARY RANK TO A MEMORIAL(as per LKAT):
Use of one's former rank by non-retired military personnel is not a prescribed usage by the Department of Defense (DoD). Use of rank is reserved for career 20-year retirees -- with the intention that their use of the rank is for personal social use -- and is not for use subsequent civilian work-related situations.
In a bio or in a resume the service to our nation would be included as part of one's experience -- it's just using the rank as part of one's name the DoD specifically prohibits.
My husband was a sgt in the army but he will not be known as Sgt. " " on his memorial as he did not retire from service.
I will not add rank to any memorial unless the person falls within these categories.
1) Passed in combat serving their county
2) Retired after 20 yrs of service
3) passed while active military
