Bio

I am on a personal project to identify and document graves of Veterans in Columbus County, NC, Christian County, Kentucky and Catawba County, North Carolina and Western Davidson County, North Carolina. I especially search for those Veterans whose graves do not have military markers or whose markers do not identify them as Veterans. I am encouraging local veterans and civic organizations, churches, businesses, cemeteries and individuals to procure and place flags on Veteran's graves in Christian County, KY and Catawba County, NC for Memorial Day. If you would like to "adopt" a cemetery I will attempt to provide you with a list of veterans in a specific cemetery.

I have expanded my project by creating "memorial binders" honoring former members of our veterans organizations in Christian County, KY and Catawba County, NC. Using F/G memorials, I am honoring over 1,500 veterans in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1913, Disabled American Veterans Chapter #8 in Hopkinsville, KY and the Fort Campbell American Legion Post 233 in Oak Grove, KY. and American Legion Post #544 in Hickory, NC
----------
I am also updating information on FindaGrave memorials from Kentucky Veteran's Cemetery West, and cemeteries of Catawba County and Davidson County, North Carolina.

Please submit edits by email or the "submit edit" tab. Please do not post any "certificates" or photo copied obituaries on memorials that I create or maintain. You may transcribe and send me any information from those items and I will consider adding that information to the memorial. I try to create and maintain a respectful memorial.
