Hello to everyone. I am requesting assistance with my mother's side of my heritage.
*****PLEASE EMAIL ME ANY INFORMATION FOUND BEFORE ENTERING - AS I CAN'T CHANGE ANY INFORMATION AFTER IT'S BEEN ENTERED - THANK YOU !!!*****
#1. I'm pleased to be searching first for information on my Scottish ancestors. My great grandparents (on my grandfather's side), named David Allen & Margaret (Lindsay) Allen.
They were born in Hamilton Scotland around the 1870s. At the turn of the century 1900, David Allen & Margaret (Lindsay) Allen migrated to Canada with their 7 children.
#2. Secondary, I'm searching for my Birmingham England ancestors.
Known is my Grandmother, born Edna Mae Inman, in the early 1900s in Birmingham England. Edna Mae Inman had 2 known e
female siblings. One elder sister called "Betty" Inman. The 3 sisters migrated to America around 1915. The Inman Parents, or if other Inman siblings, information is unknown.
Around 1922, Edna Mae Inman married Andrew Lindsay Allen, becoming Edna Mae Allen. They had one child, Christina Maxine (Allen) Scruggs. Edna's older sister "Betty" Inman married "Wesley (surname ?). They had 2 daughters, named Joan & Helen, all remained in Cleveland Ohio USA until their deaths. Unknown information on the 3rd Inman sister, or if any additional siblings or of their " Inman" Parents from Birmingham England.
****After this I will start on my father's side of my ancestry, grandfather James Otto Scruggs born in Warren County
Kentucky, about 1890.
THANKS TO ALL !
