Bio
When I was a child, my grandmother lived near a beautiful old graveyard. It was my favorite place to play. Looking back, I am sure that my grandparents thought it was a little weird that I liked to spend so much time there. I would read the stones and imagine their lives and their deaths. Now that I am an adult and researching my family's roots, the cemeteries have been a wealth of information, literally set in stone.
I am always researching the names Miley, Floyd, Bell, McCullough, Thompson in the western parts of Virginia. In addition, I am interested in Ringelbergs and Van Poperings of Michigan. And last, the names Alexander, Morris, and Nutt of Tennessee.
Feel free to use any photos that I have taken. No need to ask for permission.
