My interest in genealogy stems from my own thirst for knowledge about my own family roots and hidden family secrets, which when exposed, brought many answers and insight about who my family really is and what they endured.
Through this endless search I have connected with long lost or distant family members who have provided missing pieces of the puzzle I needed to put together the story of my grandparents lives, where they came from, and who they really were. I understand them so much more now than I did when they were living.
Beyond that, the history connected to my ancestors is priceless. I know understand my roots in a way I never expected.
