I was born and raised in Dover, Tuscarawas County, Ohio. After graduating from college in Ohio, I moved to California where I married and have lived ever since. I still have many family members residing in Ohio.

I'm very interested in tracing the lives of the Rufer family since they are ancestors on my paternal grandmother's side and I knew nothing of them growing up. Other families of interest are Ellis, Lashley and Miller.
