Bio

I have been collecting photos and data on my family history for many years. For me, my research started when my husband's grandfather, Paul Clarence Hall from Kurtz Indiana asked me to take him to the Mundell Cemetery In Lawrence County Indiana. This is also the cemetery where my great grandmother (Margaret Grubb Denham) is laid to rest. I knew that at the time, however, I learned over the years that there are 5 generation of my family members buried at Mundell.
Some of my family names are: Welch, Flanders, Denham, Flinn, Grubb, Speer, Hunter, Herron, Byers, McPike, Roll, Smith, Johnson, Berry, Kennison, Collier, Lawson, and Gillespie.
Some of my husband's ancestor's names are: Hall, Henderson, Grubb, Roll, Starns, Fleetwood, Hunsucker, Arthur, Deckard, Hillenburg, and Croucher.
I enjoy photographing cemeteries, adding memorials, adding cemeteries, and linking family members, (I only link memorials with documentation) I like the research involved, as well. I guess you could say I enjoy every aspect of genealogy. I also enjoy helping others find their roots. If you live in another state, or several hours away, and would like a picture of a local grave or a copy of documents, do not hesitate to ask. It may take a couple of weeks to ablidge, but it would be my pleasure to assist you in your search for your family ties.
If I maintain any of your family members' memorials and you wish to manage the memorial, I will be happy to transfer them to you. If you have suggestions for any of the memorials I maintain, I will also be glad to update memorials with your suggestions.
There have been many individuals who have influenced my search and who have assisted me in my journey. I would like to thank all of them for their help. I especially would like to thank Carla Harris, Cindy Reeder, Grace Gubb Wade, Kathryn Grubb Johnson, My great Aunt Margie Johnson Horne, Carolyn Jarvis, and most of all, my mother, Margareet Irene Flanders Welch for the countless hours of riding with me searching for cemeteries, towns, and sites, countless hours of walking cemeteries, and listening to me go on about new discoveries and assisting me in my journey. And thank you to each and everyone of you who contributes, maintains memorials, upload photos and documents to all genealogy sites. I for one appreciate all of your hard work and perseverance. Together we will continue our journey!
