I'm a researcher, photographer, history adventurer, home educator and cemetery explorer. I am particularly interested in Civil War graves both North and South. I live in Virginia, which helps me greatly with this endeavor.
Right now I am embarking on a research project of the 12th Mississippi in the Confederate States Army. The 12th mustered into the CSA in May of 1861 at Corinth, MS. Next they went to Union, TN before being assigned to the Army of Northern Virginia. They arrived at Manassas one day late for the battle there in 1861. They fought in all the major battles out east, and made their last stand at Fort Gregg, holding the line for Lee, so he and the army could escape Petersburg. Anyone who has information on these soldiers or questions on edits, please feel free to contact me.
