i was born in portsmouth, virginia. spent a lot of time moving around when growing up. got interested in doing ancestry work a couple of years ago. been traveling to different states following up on my own family tree. taken many pictures of cemetaries and old home places. film for others as a favor while out on my rounds. i like to capture town histories as well as the people who built them. our own lives represent history in themselves. it's incredible the amount of changes in the last 50 years. i feel lucky to be part of the older generation and to have experienced some of the olden days, and see so much of the new.
