I have been researching my family's history for many years. It wasn't till someone found my great great grandmother who was believed to be buried in one cemetery in another did I feel the need to pay it forward. The most gratifying part is to give a "person" sunshine for the first time in many many years. Even though a person is gone and buried, their final resting place needs to be cared for, respected and see the sun when ever possible. One of my encounters in fulfilling a request, with the help of the cemetery's foreman, we found the family's loved ones gravestones a foot below the surface. It was the most exhilaratingly feeling. Kacy lived in Sweden. I was able to give her real time uncovering of the monuments via Facebook live video chat. She was able to share in the excitement.
