In Search Of; Olive Evangeline HANCHETT DAVIS, alias Eva Davis, or possibly Mrs. John J. Davis. Olive/Eva was born 20th MAY 1861, in, one census says IOWA, another says WISCONSIN. She is the daughter of Winfield Scott Hanchett (son of Amos Hanchett and Sally Sarah FRENCH) and Eunice Elizabeth WILHELM (daughter of John WILHELM and Electa WILDMAN). Eva E. Hanchett married John J. DAVIS in Baldwin, St Croix county, Wisconsin March of 1881. Three children born to this couple, John and Eva Davis, 1882-Ruth N. DAVIS-BOWERS-1937MT, 1887-Fred Winfield DAVIS-1972WA, and 1890-Harry William DAVIS-1967MT. Kids are found in census of 1930 MT, what happened to parents???
