Born near French Lick, Indiana on Nov. 13, 1937 and actual name is Leo Wayne Ferguson, however I have always been known as "Wayne". Graduated French Lick High School in 1956, began banking career in April 1957 at the "old" French Lick State Bank, which was merged with the West Baden National Bank on January 1, 1959, forming the Springs Valley Bank & Trust Company. I advanced to the position of Sr. Vice President, Cashier & Trust Officer and, after 27 years as a banker, I left and went into the Insurance & Real Estate Business in 1984...and at this time (08/19/2017) am still active as the owner of Wayne Ferguson Agency in French Lick, IN.
