My purpose for starting to add information on Find-a-grave in 2013 was to update our Veterans graves in the Shiloh Cemetery, also known as Shiloh Lutheran Church Cemetery, 2201 Church Road, Shiloh, York County, Pennsylvania, 17408 USA
We at Shiloh American Legion Riders do an annual wreath laying ceremony similar to "Wreaths Across America". Our group/event is not associated with that project. We are self funded through our American Legion Post 791.
I have been attempting to update all of our Veterans in the cemetery with as much information as I can find to Honor them during our annual event.
We print a page from Find-a-grave that is updated for each Veteran in our Cemetery. When we distribute wreaths in December, we hand out these sheets so the person laying the wreath knows a little about that person and a glimpse into their lives.
My request from those who I request additions be made or information added, that you please understand why I am asking. We currently have 273 Veterans in our cemetery, so it has been a long road to be able to honor them each year.
