I became interested in genealogy after purchasing property in Ellijay, Gilmer County, Georgia and later learning from my grandmother that the maternal side of the family had so much history there.

My focus is on the following families. Noblit (Noblette, Noblet, Noblitt), Ewing and McGregra, all of my paternal roots. And Barlow (Barlowe), Hopper, Holden and Alligood (Allegood) of my maternal roots.
