I have only been doing this for a couple of years. My wife and I use the same account and are interested in learning more about our lineages.

On my side of the family, we are interested in the Harris, Mathers, Buckner, Byars, and Martin families that settled chiefly in Ellis County, Texas but some ended up in Johnson County, West Texas (the region, not the city). We are also interested in the Risser family that came from Pennsylvania and settled in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana and the Porter family that also settled there.

Samantha's kin came immediately from Colorado, but can be traced back to Ellis Island and beyond. The major names in her family are Fichtenbaum, Weintraub (taken from a ship at Ellis Island), Kurtz, and Boaz (from the former Soviet Bloc countries and changed to Weintraub).

Out of respect for my daughters, I am also interested in the families of Quincy Hand and Charlie Brown (yes, that was their GGF's name) from Florida.

Most of the names that I have added are known family and many are in unmarked graves, known only to a few descendants. If you have any data that will make these listings more complete, please use the "Edit" tab. I am sure that I will add some non-kin in the future, and will gladly transfer those, but I would like to keep control over those that are kin to me.
