My father was William Jimmy Brown. His father is Jeffie Layfette Brown. His mother's maiden name was Grizzle (Innerree? Grizzle). Her mother's name was Pope (Caroline Partheme Pope).

I've had more luck (help) with my grandmother's line than the Brown family line.

My father grew up in the Opp, AL. He had siblings living in the Phenix City, AL and Columbus, GA area as well.
