I am very new to genealogy as a whole, but thanks in no small part to the efforts of many who have added to FindAGrave, I have expanded my little world by leaps and bounds in a short amount of time.

I was quite pleased to see that a complete stranger, someone totally unknown in any way to me, took a picture of my mother's grave marker and added it to this site. That totally random act, knowing someone else out there might be looking for her grave, has not only renewed my faith in humanity to some small degree, but has also spurred me to add, whenever I can, to this site.
