Bio

My name is Nick, I was born on 16 January 1980 and I live in Paal in Belgium.
I am very passionate about the history of WWI and WWII, and history in general. Through the years I got fascinated by the military cemeteries and visited many.
Because of this fascination, I got interested in adopting American war graves. It started with one grave at the Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, the grave of Clemit Lipe. Soon another one followed and at the moment I have adopted 22 adoption graves, 8 from World War I and 14 from World War II. They are not all American though, there's one Belgian, two German and several British among them too.

I am also a researcher for the Belgian/Dutch Fields of Honor foundation. We research all US soldiers buried or remembered on the Walls of the Missing at 6 US cemeteries in Europe: Ardennes, Henri-Chapelle, Epinal, Lorraine, Luxemburg and Netherlands.
