I am a member of the Sons of the Union Veterans of the Civil War and am a participant in their National Graves Registration Database project to document the final resting places of the men and women who served in the Union armed forces in the Civil War.
I also fulfill photo requests at Union Dale Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
When fulfilling photo requests, I try to take two photos of each grave: one of the marker itself, and another of its surroundings so that people can get a sense of its context and more easily locate it if they plan to visit.
You may use any photo I post for a fair use or noncommercial purpose, and without attribution.
