Hello, I am a family genealogist and a volunteer at my local genealogy society. I also volunteer in their cemetery reading group. I have read two cemeteries and taken photos of all existing gravestones. One pioneer cemetery I read I have research all the residents and am writing a book on them. I also had the pioneer cemetery checked over by cadaver dogs to see how many graves there is that has no gravestones. There were more than twice as many graves as gravestones. So sad, but I am so glad there are volunteers out there that are photographing the gravestones that are existing at this time, for it is so very sad to find a gravestone that can no longer be read and that will happen over time. I so wish someone had thought recording the graves by photographing them a hundred years ago. So Thank You All for giving your time to this important work.
