I have become the historian in my family, trying to preserve for future generations the information we, the living know first hand, as well as glean information from records that are now available online. I've been working on our family tree since 2008. Information from Findagrave.com has been really helpful and I do my share to visit family gravesite and post those photos as well. When a volunteer from findagrave.com helps me by fulfilling my photo request, there are many of us on the other end cheering and crying happy tears to finally have answers to questions about our loved ones. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful volunteers who assist us all and bring meaning to the saying, "to live in the hearts of those you leave behind is to never die".
