I grew up in the Greater New Orleans area & moved to various parts of western Louisiana & eastern Texas at the age of 27 yrs. Employed by the Kansas City Southern Railway, Co., I had to move several times to retain my seniority. In 1992, I relocated to the Kansas City area to get married. Til this date (September 2012), I am in the Kansas City, KS, area.

In September of 2012, I joined Find-A-Grave to assist me with pictures and info. for my Family Tree--Ancestry.com.

During my first week of membership, I had received about 8 requests for pictures of gravesites in Chalmette National Cemetery & St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. I am thrilled that I'll be able to help other people with their Ancestry projects! As I am originally from the New Orleans area, I travel there 4 to 5 times a year & spend lots of hours in the local cemeteries taking photographs. For anyone needing my assistance with New Orleans' gravesite photos, please be patient. It may take 2 to 3 months before I travel to New Orleans from the time I get your requests.
