Bio

I am a fifth generation grandson of Harvey H. Whitehill who was sheriff of Silver City, NM for twelve years. My Mother, Leeann (Storrs) Turner was very musically inclined and she saw to it that my two sisters and I were raised with not only an appreciation of music, but she and our Step-Grandmother Gladys Storrs made sure that all three of us kids could play at least two instruments by the time we graduated from high school. Playing music my whole life has been a most pleasurable experience, and I owe my musical talent to Mom and Gladys. I owe my electronics/technical background and 42-year career in Government Services to my Dad, Curtis Weldon "Mike" Turner, who taught me the fundamentals of electronics at an early age. My life would not have been the same if it weren't for my parents and grandparents making sure I had the tools to be successful in many ways, and I feel being a Whitehill descendant has made it all possible.
