Bio
I have been studying my family history for over 40 years. Now that I am retired, I can spend more time visiting cemeteries and searching for information. I am a member of NEHGS, Mayflower Descendants, Alden Kindred, Pembroke Historical Society, the Southborough Historical Society, Gloucester County NJ Historical Society, The Camden County NJ Historical Society and the Duxbury Rural and Historical Society. I live in New Jersey, but 95% of my ancestors lived in southeastern Massachusetts.
I specialize in researching early settlers of Massachusetts south of Boston along the coast, the Swedish settlement of Brooklyn NY, pre and post American Revolution in south/central NJ, and German settlers of Philadelphia and Camden NJ.
I grew up in Southborough, MA and enjoy working on documenting the cemeteries, grand old homes and the families that lived there. When you spend your childhood surrounded by them, you want to know more about the people and how they shaped the heritage of your hometown.
I am so grateful for all those contributors who have shared information and photographs of my ancestors and family (even my son's grave). I wanted to join in the effort and help other people with their searches.
