I am a retired mother and student with children and grandchildren distributed from Phoenix to Minneapolis to Cleveland, Hilton Head, and Long Island. My husband helps my geneology projects, scanning photos, doing library searches and calling me when dinner is ready.

My graduate education is in history and American Studies, enabling me to fill in the context of the research I do, enhancing the stories I can put together for those whose graves I visit.

My parents were younger children in large Ohio farming families. I am able to recreate family histories from a few memories and the graves grouped together in a place I know only from a census record
