The day I joined Find a Grave, my mother had agreed to help. She loved adventures and was looking forward to visiting her gr-gr-grandparents graves. She passed away 2 days later. This is a poem she wrote to be read at her service.

Do Not Stand at My Grave and Cry

Do not stand at my grave and cry
You do not have to say goodbye.
For I'm not in a grave you know
I'm the flowers of spring
The fallen snow.
I am the river that runs free
and flows into the waiting sea.
The sun that shines to light your way
and warms you on a winters day.
I am the clouds that float on high
The stars that shine on a cloudless sky.
I'm in each drop of falling rain
I share your joy, I feel your pain.
Don't think for a minute that I am gone
I'm with you still, your not alone.
So do not stand at my grave and cry
I just went home, I didn't die.
