Bio

I was born 2 April 1939 at Oregon City, Oregon. I consider myself lucky, I had a fairly normal and healthy, happy childhood. Since growing to where I am now, so many of my friends had things in their lives that children should not have to grow up with. We were not rich by any means but we always had what we needed and sometimes what we wanted. I started doing ancestry rather late in life and became obsessed with it. Kicking myself for not paying attention to trips my grandparents took and listening to what people said about growing up. Still I have been able to solve a couple of mysteries that we didn't think we'd ever find. I worked for 32 years for the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife--always liked my job. Married twice, had my children with my first husband. Divorced. Remarried to a great guy who is also into Ancestry. I haven't been able to go very far back into my family's roots but what I have is very satisfying.
