Bio

To answer an unasked question, as the eldest of eight children, I became the unofficial keeper of tales at an early age. I started doing genealogy in earnest about 1990 when I discovered I have a talent for doing research, while studying for my BA in Art History at Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan. My father was a Professional Photographer in Pontiac for over 30 years and he taught his children his craft and instilled in us a love of good photography. Through the years I have been amassing my own collection of family memorial photographs that I call "Engraved in Stone". A substantial amount of this collection was captured on film and has yet to be digitized. Finding "Find a Grave" has given me a way to share those photographs easily and economically with family members. Helping people like you, gentle reader, is a pleasure because I enjoy doing the research just as much as I enjoy wandering the cemeteries and taking pictures.
