If you have a date of birth correction for an immigrant from the Russian Empire and it is based on a document that says they were born on the 15th day of a particular month and year, please request a correction for month and year only. Virtually all of the immigrants from the Russian empire, whose documents list a full date of birth, say they were born on the 15th. They cannot all have been born on the 15th, so I only include month and year unless it shows a date other than the 1st or 15th. The same is true for date of birth December 25th. An astonishing number of Eastern European Jews claim to have been born December 25th. In those cases, I only put down December and even that is doubtful.
