Bio
I've been searching and researching my family lines since 1998 when my mother passed away. I realized that I didn't know much about my family's past and became curious about both my dad's and my mother's ancestors.
My main interests are my paternal lines, LAWSON & FLETCHER, and my maternal lines, FREILEY & WAKEM. I'm also searching for my wife's family lines, MORRIS & ALSOBROOKS.
Other connected families I'm interested in are PARCHMAN, STILES, FROELICH, EVANS, WEBSTER, WARREN, PERRY, and GOODMAN.
My main brick wall is my GGG Grandfather's parents. Isaiah Dedrick LAWSON was born 1806 in KY and moved to TX in 1823. He was orphaned at a young age. Through DNA testing, I firmly believe that Abia LAWSON was his brother and Nicholas P LAWSON was also a brother. All three migrated to TX from KY about the same time and all resided in Red River County, TX. Some say Henry B LAWSON of KY was their father and some say that William LAWSON of VA was.
