Bio
I was born in Concord, Merrimack, New Hampshire. I Have an interest in Barnard and Adams families from New England(many in Grafton County, New Hampshire).
My father's paternal family(Adams) emigrated from Gaspe Bay, Canada, settling in the Hebron, NH area. His maternal line (Barnard)had been in Massachusetts and New Hampshire since the early 1700's. It is from my father's side that I have a 9th great grandmother who was hanged as a witch in 1692 in Salem, Massachusetts(Susanna (North)Martin 1621-1692)
My mother's paternal family(Davisson) emigrated to Massachusetts from Scotland as indentured slaves/prisoners and migrated south to Virginia and West Virginia.
I don't limit myself to direct relatives, I include cousins and more.
To add to my genealogical searching, I am also working on my husbands family: Dunipace(from Scotland/England), Quave, Smith(from Louisiana & Mississippi) and many more. He has some Indian Chiefs(Choctaw) from Ontario Canada whose family members migrated to the Southeastern part of the United States(Mississippi, Alabama etc). Working on connecting him with his 8th g-grandfater, a Choctaw Chief
Currently live in Highland Village, Texas (Denton County). About 50 miles south of the Oklahoma Border.
My Tree name on ancestry.com is: P.Adams Tree-Dec 2011.
My husbands tree name is: Richard Dunipace Family Tree_2011
Member of the Cross Timbers Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution(Revolutionary War ancestor: Edmund Barnard(1756-1845))
