I am the Tipton County Genealogist and Local Historian for Tipton County, Tennessee as appointed by the Tipton County Legislative body in 1988. I have conducted extensive research into both the white and African-American communities,families and institutions in this County since the late 1970's. I am a 1983 graduate of Brighton High School and a 1988 graduate of Memphis State University where I majored in Polical Science and History. I reside in Brighton, Tennessee but I am employed in the Recorder-Treasurer's Office at Covington City Hall. One of the hats I wear is Superintendant of Munford and Townsend Cemeteries in Covington which are owned by the municipality.
