Bio

Been around the block and down the shaft. I have ADD, poor attention span, and love anything genealogy. Love graveyards and

reading tombstones.

Side loves are photography and writing, collecting stuff, mostly junk. I'm basically a pack rat. Hate letting go of stuff.

I am newly retired and check frequently for photo requests in my area. I no longer receive requests for photos because they

overwhelm my mailbox, so I just check on my own.

I was a Community (read, Assistant) Editor for a small-town daily newspaper for four years to the day, but for some reason,

the bosses don't like to be told off for lying and being jerks, so they fired me.

While there, in two years of submissions at the annual state newspaper awards competition, I won both photography and

writing awards. I also won a first-place quarterly photography competition at the national level. In the state level, I won

a first-place award and shared second and third-place awards in writing with other writers from my newspaper. I also won

first and third place awards in photography at the state level.

I love this site. Hopefully, I can both contribute and reap personal benefits in the tertiary area of find-a-grave.

Unfortunately, the graves I most need to find—my grandmother's and three of her children who died early or at birth—I cannot

find on find-a-grave.

Blessings to you.
