Focus areas are Tampico, Prophetstown, Hume Twp, Deer Grove/Hahnaman in Whiteside County and Yorktown in Bureau County. I cannot always get to the other areas in Whiteside Co. for photos, but will try if time allows. Our Tampico Historical Society archives the Tampico Tornado newspapers, pub. 1876-1966 and I am happy to do obituary look-ups. I visit the Sterling Library on regular basis, so I can do look-ups in their Sterling Gazette. If I cannot get to your area, I will try to refer you to someone else that may be able to help. Our website also has a Picasa photo album with all of the photos of the Tampico Memorial Cemetery and the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, which I will upload to find-a-grave as time allows.
