I started using this site when I was searching my own family tree, which is....well like a spider web and the spider packed up and left. My mother's family is from the East coast and Catholic. My father's family apparently hated Catholics and had a few Confederate soldiers. Today I discovered my grandmothers paternal line died out, no more male heirs. I will be adding more to my family.
