Fallen Graver

Sadly, Gary McCarty has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

I appreciate all those who have contributed to - it's a great source when it comes to researching. I'm ready to share everything I know about my ancestors and relatives, including any scans of photos, documents, etc, that I might have that you need, so just email me and ask. It doesn't do me any good to find out about something and keep it all to myself - there's just no fun in it if I can't tell anyone about it and it certainly doesn't help genealogy very much to keep everthing private. I'm a descendent of Albert & Martha Gentry McCarty; Samuel Eli and Harriet Jones McCarty; & Levi & Ruth Gentry, William Houston and Sarah Elizabeth Nash Sims; Nicholas and Gladys Thomas (Florida)and others; and related to many who live or have lived in or near Sherman, MS and other places in Union, Pontotoc, Lee Counties at one time with the surname Humphreys; Bedford; Dillard; Johnson; Crump; Sanders; McNutt; Easterling; Gurley; Lackey; Cannon; Wylie; McBrayer; Smith; Gibson; Roberson; and others...just recently started working on my Sims descendent line including: Maxcy; Nash; Caudle; Lewis; Chism; Moore (Texas) Parkman (Texas); Bessemer (Oklahoma)and others.
