My name is Doris Richardson I have attended the Hugh Bryant Graveyard since I was born. I was born on Beginning Branch and remember Smackum in detail like it used to be when I was a child and had to climb the hill from that side to get to the meetings always on the first Sunday in September.
I have missed plenty but my brother was born at the foot of the hill and has missed only one meeting in 66 years. He missed in 2006 when our mom passed.
I have lived in Indpls most of my life. My great, great, grandfather is Hugh Bryant, my great grandparents are Steve and Dora , Johnson Bryant. My grandparents are HIllard and Maggie Lee Bryant Hensley.
