My interest in genealogy began with the creation of my family tree for a high school sociology class assignment, and later, a genogram assignment in graduate school.

After the deaths of several older relatives and twenty years after graduating with my master's degree, my enthusiasm for genealogy increased. Using available resources I began earnestly seeking contact with maternal and paternal collateral relatives, both here in the US and in Europe.

This research led to successful fundraising campaigns (family cookbooks - Editions 1 and 2) and the organization of family reunions (two to date) to connect and unite my paternal relatives and preserve our family history.

As a contributor to this Find-a-Grave site, it is my desire to accurately and lovingly preserve the memory of persons known to me, whether the person be family or friend.
